There's a boxy stubbornness to the G63 that I love. Mercedes could have smoothed it into something forgettable decades ago and refused to. Under the hood it's an AMG V8 that doesn't apologize for itself, wrapped in a shape that still looks like it drove straight out of the '80s and won. I'm not chasing 0-60 numbers here; I'm chasing that specific kind of engineering that refuses to compromise its identity just because the world moved on.

Every pair on the shelf marks a version of me. The ones I wore into the ground building my first project, the ones I saved up for and still won't wear in the rain. Sneakers are the rare collectible that's meant to be used, not preserved, and I like that tension: care and wear, living side by side.
Watches

I like that a mechanical watch doesn't need a battery or a Wi-Fi signal to keep doing its one job. Hundreds of tiny parts agreeing, quietly, to move forward together. In a world of notifications, there's something grounding about strapping on a machine built purely to mark time, not steal it.

Code is precise; a good photo isn't. I picked up a camera because some moments refuse to be reduced to logic. It's the one hobby where being blurry or accidental is sometimes the whole point.
Gardening

Nothing in a codebase teaches patience the way a seed does. You can't refactor it or push a hotfix to make it grow faster. It's the one part of my week with zero deploy pressure.
Movies

I'll take a well-told two-hour story over almost anything else after a long day of staring at a screen for different reasons. Good films do what good code should: hide the complexity, and just work.
